Overview
Vaisakhi, also known as Baisakhi, is a significant festival celebrated primarily in the Punjab region of India. It marks the beginning of the harvest season and is also the New Year.
Historical Significance
Vaisakhi holds great historical importance for Punjabi community as it commemorates the formation of the Khalsa in 1699 by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru.
